In Japan, mugicha is synonymous with Summer. Usually served cold, mugicha is perfectly nutty and refreshing in every sip. Often served in Japanese school faculty rooms and businesses, mugicha is a great caffeine-free replacement for coffee due to its similar toasty flavor and robust aroma!

Brewing Instructions

  • Standard Cold Brew: Fill a pitcher with cold water and drop in the mugicha tea bag and let it brew for at least one hour in the fridge or outside.
  • Quick Cold Brew: Bring water to a boil and drop in the mugicha tea bag for a few minutes. The hot water will create a very dense tea concentration so pour over ice until tea color reaches the desired lighter shade and flavor.
